Hakuba Goryu

http://www.hakubagoryu.com/

As you might be thinking this map is the same for Hakuba 47, well it is. The two resorts are linked at the top and the day pass covers both resorts. Goryu is the light blue area and Hakuba 47 is the light red area.

Hakuba Goryu has runs suited for beginners to intermediate skiers/boarders. At the base area there are 3 zones which are wide and gentle allowing for easy progression. There is one area to the right hand side which has steeper terrain and is alot of fun on a powder day. There is a small park with rails, boxes and kickers. And another park made just for the absolute beginners to help ylou get used to jibbing and jumping.

The top part of the mountain has wide runs, a mogul area and the terrain gets steeper in the Alps Zone. A good run is from the Gondala exit down to the Goryu base area, it`s a long one but you can get some good speeds. Access to Hakuba 47 is from the top Gondola exit.

Night ski-ing is on the Toomi run which is long and wide and when it is snowing is great fun.

Goryu is a fun mountain to jib around off natural features, learn how to ski or snowboard and take in some amazing views. There is a water jump in summer at the base area which is great fun.

There is a free Shuttle Bus Service operating from various points around Hakuba.
